Julian T. Lee is an associate in Rosenberg Martin Greenberg’s nationally recognized tax controversy department. He joined the firm in 2009, and his practice focuses on representation of individuals and businesses throughout all stages of federal and state tax controversies.
Julian is Vice Chair of the National Bar Association (NBA) Tax Section and has frequently spoken on panels about income and employment tax compliance at NBA conferences. He is an active member of the American Bar Association’s Section of Taxation and a member of the Maryland State Bar Association. Julian has served as an instructor in the Military Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program at Fort George G. Meade since 2012, teaching preparers who provide free tax preparation services to military personnel and their families. He also volunteers as a Maryland Volunteer Legal Services Associate Advocate and was recognized as a Maryland Super Lawyers Rising Star for 2014 and 2015. He received a Young Lawyer/Future History Maker award from the Monumental City Bar Association in 2015.
Julian is a graduate of Emory University and earned his J.D. from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, where he served as an editorial board member of the Moot Court Honor Society. Julian received his LL.M. in Taxation with distinction from Georgetown University Law Center.
