An industry pioneer, Jan Anne Dubin is an award-winning consultant with over 30 years of experience leading, innovating, and serving as a change-agent and connector.
In 2009, she founded Jan Anne Dubin Consulting, a consulting firm focused on client service, business development, marketing and strategic communications, leadership development and executive coaching, and diversity and inclusion strategies. She has particular expertise in the areas of revenue generation and has led hundreds of cross-functional teams in pursuit of new business generating in excess of $100 million in new work.
Prior to starting JADC, she served as a Business Development Director with LECG and as the first North American Business Development Director for Baker & McKenzie LLP, where she was responsible for driving the region’s business development strategies. Jan was the Director of Client Relations for DLA Piper US LLP and its legacy firms where she also served in various senior management and leadership roles for more than 17 years.
A sought-after marketing expert and thought leader, Jan is passionate about and dedicated to mentoring and coaching women and diverse individuals. She serves as a strategic business partner to Thomson Reuters and has created and chairs an on-going thought leadership forum called Women’s Transformative Leadership: Empowerment by Improving Participation and Representation, which is held in conjunction with International Women’s Day. She served on the editorial boards of London-based WomenLegal magazine and Perspectives, the magazine of the American Bar Association’s Commission on Women in the Profession. A former member of the Legal Marketing Association’s National Board, she served as a past of chair of the education committee and has won several National first-place “Your Honor” awards for excellence in the profession.
Recognized by Today’s Chicago Woman magazine as one of 100 Women Making a Difference, she also received the Anti-Defamation League’s Distinguished Community Leadership Award. Recruited by First Lady Michelle Obama (then the Executive Director) in 1994 to join the Public Allies Chicago board, today she serves as board co-chair and sits on the National Strategic Planning Committee. She is an advisory board member of DyMynd, a company putting dynamic minds into action.
A 1994 M.B.A. graduate of The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, she hold a B.S. degree from the University of Kansas, William Allen White School of Journalism.
